runtm run

Run your project locally with automatic runtime detection.

Arguments

Options

How It Works

The run command:
  1. Reads runtm.yaml to detect runtime type
  2. Installs dependencies (if needed)
  3. Starts the appropriate development server

Runtime Detection

For Node.js projects, Runtime uses Bun if available (3x faster). Otherwise falls back to npm.

Or (without Bun):

Fullstack Projects

Starts both:
  • Frontend at http://localhost:3000
  • Backend at http://localhost:8080

Lockfile Auto-Fix

If your lockfile is missing or out of sync, runtm run automatically fixes it:
Disable with --no-autofix if you want manual control.
